My Story…
Hi, I’m Kaylia! Unexpectedly, on May 6, 2020 my life forever changed. I had been sick with pneumonia and COVID, which is believed to have triggered the migraine and headaches that were to follow. After many failed attempts of seeking medication, procedures, etc. these headaches and migraines have not stopped, not even for one second. After seeing multiple neurologists, and currently a headache specialist, I was diagnosed with New Daily Persistent Headache (NDPH) and Chronic Migraines. NDPH is an rare incurable disorder, that I continue to live with.
With your help, research will be funded in hopes of finding a cure for this uncommon condition, as donations go to the UTSW Headache Center to support local migraine research and fellowship training programs.
